Terms of service

The agreement between you and AP Interactive Solutions S.L. for the use of this service.

Last updated Sep 9, 2026

1Parties and scope

These terms govern your use of geofeed.network, operated by AP Interactive Solutions S.L. (tax ID B56483407, registered office C/ Sierra del Co 18 A3 4I, Málaga (España)). Creating an account means you accept them.

They apply alongside the legal notice, the privacy policy and the cookie policy. Where they conflict, these terms govern the service and the legal notice governs the website.

2The service

We host geofeeds — files in the format of RFC 8805 — and serve them at stable public URLs, so that a geolocation provider can read them. The panel lets you add ASNs, import the prefixes they announce, set locations, publish, check whether a registry object references your feed, and see which consumers have fetched it. A public validator is available with no account.

The service is free. There is no paid tier and no trial. We may introduce one in future, and if we do we will not start charging for an account you already hold without telling you first and giving you the option to stop.

3Your account

One person or organisation per account; you are responsible for what happens under it and for keeping your password and any API tokens secret. Two-factor authentication is available and we recommend it.

You may delete your account at any time. Doing so stops your feed URLs answering, which will make the geolocation data of the prefixes in them go stale at any provider that was reading them — remove the reference from your registry objects first.

4What you may publish

You may publish location data only for IP address space you hold or operate, or for which you have the holder's authorisation. You are responsible for the accuracy of that data.

We do not check your entries before serving them. The panel will tell you when the registry object covering a prefix disagrees with what you have published, or does not reference your feed at all, but acting on that is up to you.

Publishing deliberately false location data — for space you do not control, or to mislead a provider — is a misuse of this service and grounds for closing the account.

5Acceptable use

Do not:

  • access accounts, feeds, tokens or data that are not yours
  • use the validator's fetch-by-URL feature against hosts you are not authorised to request, or to probe private networks
  • circumvent rate limits, or automate the panel in place of the API
  • attempt to degrade the availability of the service for others
  • use the service to break any law that applies to you

We may suspend an account immediately where continuing would harm the service or other users, and we will tell you why and give you a way to respond.

6Availability

We take the published feed URLs seriously: they sit inside third-party registry objects, and a failure there is invisible to the operator whose data quietly goes stale. Their output is verified byte-for-byte on every deployment, and a database failure returns a temporary error rather than "not found", so a consumer retries instead of concluding you have no geofeed.

That is care, not a guarantee. The service is provided as-is, without an availability commitment, and we may change, interrupt or discontinue it. If we discontinue it we will give reasonable notice so you can move your feeds elsewhere.

7Your data, and getting it out

You keep all rights in the data you enter. You grant us only what running the service needs: storing your entries and serving them at your feed URL.

You can download the exact bytes we serve at any time, from the panel or from the feed URL itself, and host them on your own server. The only thing you would have to change is the URL in your registry object. There is deliberately nothing here to migrate out of.

8Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AP Interactive Solutions S.L. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including loss of business, and including decisions that any third party makes from a geofeed hosted here.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under Spanish law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

9Changes and termination

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the panel with reasonable notice; continuing to use the service after they take effect means accepting them. If you do not accept them, delete your account.

Either side may end this agreement at any time: you by deleting your account, us by closing it for a breach of these terms or because we are discontinuing the service.

10Law and jurisdiction

Spanish law governs these terms. Disputes will be heard by the courts of Málaga, Spain, unless a mandatory rule — in particular consumer protection law — provides otherwise.
